Exciting Attempt!
Today, for the first time, I decided to dye some wool. I used three colours from this pack: green, blue and orange. The wool is now drying. So exciting! :)

My New Slippers

Redstart Baptised...
After being asked (by Kari) what I would call this one, I decided to baptise her Ambre. I think it's a good fit, as it is exactly the colour of her tail :)

New Bird in Town
Edit: after research, I can now say that this is a female black redstart :)

And here is my visitor:
This is a new bird I've first noticed yesterday. There are actually two of them from the same breed (I think). This is probably the female. The second one is very similar, except it is darker and the orange tails stands out more. The male also has some white on top of the wings. It's not obvious on this picture, but the tail is pretty red/orange, about the same colour as the plastron on red robins.
Anybody knows what they are? I didn't find them in my book about European birds...

My First Felting Effort
This is the first time I attempted felting. It did work out OK, but it got much smaller than I expected. This is a learning process and I have learnt things that I'll apply next time. Of course, I have already several felting projects in mind now! ;)

Hat
Another thing I knitted for the presents I'm making for Clay and Storm's first birthday. I had some leftover yarn from the jumper so I decided to make a hat. Here, it's modeled by Logan. It's too small for him, of course, but I really like how the crown looks.
