Yesterday the boys' advent calendar told them that they were to visit the Christmas Market that day, so we had to follow the calendar's orders! ;)
When we arrived, they first went for a couple of rides on this train
I really like that you can see the speed of the train on that one (it was pretty fast!)
Just a general shot from the Marktplatz (Market square) where most of the market is held, with Tim and the boys in the foreground
I took pictures of quite a few stalls so we can see the different kinds of things sold there
Christmas decorations
Wax products
More Christmas decorations
Lebkuchen (gingerbread biscuits). These ones say "Merry Christmas"
Beautiful potteries
The boys went on another - strange - ride and chose to go on the deers! ;)
These three guys were playing Christmas carols on the accordeon, that was quite funny but not bad actually. And, Connor danced to it!
This is the "Karusel", this is traditional in Germany at the Christmas markets. You can see that it depicts a nativity scene
And more Lebkuchen! :D
